Savannah Ruiz, MSN, APRN, AGACNP

Savannah Ruiz is one of our recent Advanced Practice Provider additions to the Heart Center of North Texas. She is certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. Savannah received her BSN from Northern Arizona University in 2016, followed by an MSN from University of Texas at Arlington in 2022. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a bedside nurse for 7 years. Savannah’s time nursing included work at various Baylor Scott and White and Medical City facilities on the Telemetry, ER, PCU, ICU, and CVU floors, and she also dabbled in travel nursing. Her Nurse Practitioner experience is in cardiology, both inpatient and outpatient, with specialized focus on patients with heart failure and rhythm disorders.

Savannah will work primarily with Dr. Mughal and Dr. Varughese.

Outside of work, Savannah is a foodie and loves to travel. She’s currently living in Fort Worth, although she grew up near Phoenix, Arizona. She spends most of her time reading, exercising, or hanging out with her husband and all of their fur babies.
